The twenty-second weekly meeting of the departments’ directors was held on Monday 24 Rajab 1442, corresponding to 9 March 2021, under the chairmanship of H.E. Prof. Koutoub Sano who opened the meeting by welcoming all participants.

His Excellency spoke about his meeting with H.E. Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, OIC Secretary General, on Sunday 7 March 2021 at the headquarters of the OIC Secretariat General, during which he presented the strategic plan of the Academy in its final form, which H.E. Dr. Al-Othaimeen appreciated and admired, and requested that it be distributed to the members and published on the website of the Academy.

On this occasion, the Secretary General thanked the Academy’s personnel for their efforts in the achievement of the strategic plan and noted the importance of starting the implementation of the activities and programs it contains, pointing out that the deadlines stipulated in the plan are flexible and subject to review from time to time.

The meeting resulted in several decisions, notably:

-Expedite the translation of the strategic plan into English and French.

-Communicate and coordinate with the Secretariat General of Awqaf in Kuwait to arrange a visit to overview the possibility of its support to the Academy Waqf Fund.

-To prepare a list of all cooperation agreements and memorandums that have been concluded in the past between the Academy and other institutions to update their content and renew them if necessary.
