IIFA Secretary General visits the Jordanian Consulate General

On Thursday, Rabi’ Al-Awwal 15, 1443H, corresponding to October 21, 2021G, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), paid an official visit to the headquarters of the Consulate General of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were received by the Jordanian Consul General, His Excellency Mr. Jaafar Mohammed Jaafar and His Excellency Mr. Rami Mashhour Al-Kharabsheh, Deputy Consul General.

His Excellency the Consul General welcomed His Excellency the Secretary General, expressing his happiness at receiving the delegation of the Academy, stressing his personal honor to meet His Excellency once again, and the keenness of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to build bridges of communication and cooperation with the Academy, especially with regard to aspects of common interest.

For his part, His Excellency the Secretary General expressed his happiness with this visit and his eagerness to meet His Excellency the Consul General to express his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency for the good preparation and coordination of the recent visit of the Secretary General to Jordan, where the visit took place in the best conditions and resulted in several important meetings with a large number of the most prominent Jordanian scholars and statesmen, led by the Prime Minister, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, and H.H. Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed, Adviser to His Majesty the King for Religious Affairs.

His Excellency added that the visit resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement and the strengthening of important and beneficial strategic partnership relations with many scientific and religious institutions, led by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places. His Excellency also praised the distinguished scientific level that he noticed upon his visit to Islamic institutions and centers in Jordan and expressed the Academy’s readiness to provide all its scientific and moral capabilities to support the efforts of the scholars in Jordan.

His Excellency the Secretary General of the Academy was accompanied on this visit by Mr. Mondher Al-Chouk, Director of Cabinet Affairs at the Academy, Ms. Sarah Amjad, Director of Women and Family Department at the Academy, Mr. Mourad TLiLi, Adviser to the Secretary General for Public Relations and Media Affairs, and Mr. Amjad Ibrahim, Manager of Protocol Division at the Academy.
