Dr. Ismail Jibaji, Head of Research and Encyclopedias Division at the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), participated in the meeting of the Technical Committee of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC), on 08 Rabi’ Al-Awwal 1443H corresponding to 14 October 2021G. A number of experts from various Muslim countries participated in the committee’s meetings, where they discussed many topics and issues related to the halal pharmaceutical industry.

It is worth noting that the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries is working to develop quality infrastructure through standardization to facilitate trade, support sustainable economic growth and provide an innovation environment in the OIC member states.
