H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha, Secretary General of the Academy, received the Dean of the Consuls General of the African Group in Jeddah, H.E. Mr. Abdelaziz Branly Opoulou, Consul General of Gabon, on Tuesday 19 Shawal 1444, corresponding to 09 May 2023, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

His Excellency welcomed his guest, thanked him for his visit and expressed his gratitude to the Gabonese Republic for its continuous support to the Academy, then His Excellency discussed with his guest who in turn expressed his pleasure and honor to visit the Academy and thanked the Secretary General for this warm welcome. The Consul General conveyed to His Excellency the generous invitation, on behalf of the African Group of Consuls General accredited in Jeddah, to receive him as a guest of honor during the celebration of the 60th Africa Day, which will be held at the end of May 2023 in Jeddah, and that His Excellency is welcome to deliver a speech on that occasion.

His Excellency thanked the Consul General for this honor, and promised to honor him, praying Allah to grant him much success in his duties.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mohmmed Al-Chouk, Director of Cabinet and Protocols of the Academy.
