IIFA’s media department takes part in the OIC’s specialized training course

The Secretariat General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation organized a specialized training course in social media management under the title “Linguistic Management of Official Media Accounts” on 4-5 Dhul Quida 1444H corresponding to May 24-25, 2023 at the OIC Secretariat General in Jeddah. The training was attended by Mr. Muhammad Al-Idrisi, Director of Public Relations and Media, and Mr. Saad Al-Sammar, Head of the Media Division at the Academy.

The objective of this specialized course was to develop participants’ skills in preparing and writing content for social media accounts for official institutions based on media and linguistic considerations and to manage them effectively, in addition to acquiring the necessary skills in preparing content for social media accounts, as well as the mechanisms of persuasion (linguistic and non-linguistic), and how to improve editing social media content.

At the end of the training, H.E. Ambassador Tariq Bakhit, Assistant Secretary General for Humanitarian, Cultural and Community Affairs, and H.E. Dr. Ibrahim bin Muhammad Abanmi, Deputy Secretary General of King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language, issued certificates to the participants approved by the OIC Secretariat General and King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language.
