H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 33rd monthly meeting of the Academy’s personnel on Sunday 15 Dhu Quidah 1444, corresponding to 04 June 2023.

His Excellency welcomed everyone, then spoke of his visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt to take part in the Conference of Ministers of Social Affairs held on June 5 and 6, 2023, noting that during the visit he would meet with H.E. Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyib, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, to discuss holding scientific activities outside the headquarters country, in coordination with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

His Excellency listened to the staff’s opinions and suggestions on the progress of work at the Academy, to contribute to the advancement of the Academy and the improvement of employee performance, calling on everyone to continue to demonstrate a spirit of cooperation, synergy and fraternity, while making every effort to bring activities and programs to a successful conclusion.

The meeting issued a number of decisions, namely:

• Revision of the recommendations and proposals presented by the participants in the medical fiqh symposium on breastfeeding premature infants in order to send them to the President of the Academy, and then to the symposium participants.
• Printing of the book of resolutions adding the 25th session as well as the revision of the English and French translation of the latter.
• Conduct an evaluation on the progress of the annual strategic plan.
