His Excellency Prof. Dr. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, received His Excellency Bello Kazur Hosseini, the new Consul General of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Jeddah, and his accompanying delegation, on Monday 01 of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1444 AH corresponding to June 19, 2023, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He welcomed his honorable guest and thanked him for the visit. Then he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the government of Nigeria for its support and sponsorship of the Academy since its inception to the present day, wishing the new Consul General success in his duties.
He also gave the guest and his dlegation an overview of the activities of the Academy and its various projects aimed at promoting moderation and peaceful coexistence between peoples and different religions. For his part the Hourable Consul General , expressed his pleasure and honor to visit the Academy and his thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Secretary General for the warm welcome, stressing his keenness to establish strong and sustainable relations with the Academy, and to benefit from it in addressing many local and regional issues that preoccupy his country and the region.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Muhammad Al-Mundhir Al-Shawk, Director of the Cabinet and Protocol Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Idrisi, Director of the Media and Public Relations Department.
