The Secretariat General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy held its 111th weekly meeting for departments’ directors on Monday 1 Rabi’ Al-Akhir 1445, corresponding to October 16, 2023, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.
H.E. Prof. Koutoub Sano Moustapha, Secretary General of the Academy, welcomed the participants and thanked them for attending the meetings. He then spoke of the progress made by the Academy in recent years and reminded them that development is one of Allah’s universal laws, and that we are therefore obliged to benefit from it, notably by developing ourselves, our businesses and the institutions in which we work. His Excellency also demonstrated the flexibility and breadth of the teachings of the Islamic religion, and their ability to keep pace with development within a framework of legal control.
His Excellency also spoke of the Academy’s significance, as the religious wing of the OIC, in the women’s conference scheduled to take place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the OIC Secretariat General, during the coming month.
The meeting reviewed the decisions of the previous meeting, and several new decisions were made, including:
- Complete the final revision of the recordings for the twenty-fifth session and to transmit the final format to the print.
