His Eminency Dr. Tijani Saboun Mohammed was born in the city of Absha (Chad) in 1952, he obtained a double honor bachelor’s degree (Arabic- French) (1975) and a double honor general diploma (1976) in educational sciences from Ain Shams University in Cairo. He also obtained a diploma in in-depth studies in History from King Faisal University in N’Djamena (2010), a higher diploma in diplomatic studies from the National Center for Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sudan (2016), and he obtained a doctorate degree in modern history from Omdurman University in Sudan (2017). His Eminence Dr. Tijani Saboun has held a number of important positions, including: Member of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy for Chad since 19 November 1984G, Advisor to the Foreign Affairs and International Relations Committee of the National Assembly of Chad since 2018G, Professor of Translation at King Faisal University in N’Djamena since 2021, Senior Advisor at the Chadian Embassy In Sudan (2010-2017), Director of Human Resources in the National Assembly in Chad (2008-2010), Director of the Administrative and Technical Departments in the National Assembly in Chad (2006-2008), Adviser to the Communications and Human Rights Department at the Prime Ministry in Chad (1993-1995), a specialized translator in the National Assembly Chad (1995- 2005), Professor of Translation at the Higher Institute of Educational Sciences in N’Djamena (1987-1990), Director of Arab Education and Chad’s representative to the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (1982- 1987), Director of the Office of the Secretary of State in Public Health, Labor and Social Affairs (1976-1978), director of Felix Aboy High School (1979-1981), member of the institutional technical committee charged with preparing the constitution (1995), and member of the National Human Rights Committee (1994).
