The Council of the Academy selected His Eminence as an appointed member representing the Muslim community in France. He has participated as a researcher, discussant, and commentator in numerous sessions and seminars of the Academy.

His Eminence has held numerous positions, including serving as Secretary-General of the World Council of Muslim Communities in the United Arab Emirates since its establishment to the present day. He also served as Dean of the Ibn Sina Institute for Human Sciences in Lille, France; Secretary-General of the European Islamic Conference; President of the General Federation of Muslims of France; Vice-President of the French Council of the Muslim Faith; Vice-President of the Waqf Foundation for Islamic Activities in France; Vice-President of the Association of Islamic Universities in Egypt; and currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies, a member of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a member of the Higher Council of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide in the Arab Republic of Egypt, a member of the Advisory Council of the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID) in Austria, a member of the European Council of Religious Leaders in Norway, a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Culture in the West (ICESCO, Morocco), a member of the Global Forum for Dialogue (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), a columnist for the UAE newspaper Al-Ittihad, a former advisor on Islamic affairs and Euro-Arab relations at the European Parliament, and a former advisor on Euro-Arab relations at the Arab Parliament.

His Eminence has received several decorations and honors, including the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence and the Order of the Arab Republic of Egypt for Arts and Sciences.
