His Eminence Dr. Arna Konate

Born in 1978 in Côte d’Ivoire, H.E. Dr. Arna Konate obtained a bachelofrom the Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Studies of the Islamic University of Niger in 2000, a master’s degree from Dar Al-Hadith Al-Hasaniyah in the Kingdom of Morocco in 2004, and a Doctorate from the Faculty of Letters and Humanities of the Abd al-Malik al-Saadi University in the Kingdom of Morocco in 2008. His Eminence has held many important positions, including Director General at the International Training Institute for Imams and Preachers in Africa, Head of the Department of Higher Education, Training and Scientific Research at the Supreme Council of Imams, Research Professor at the Institute of History, Arts and African Archaeology at the Felix Houphouet Boignyi Kokodi University in Abidjan, Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence and Religious Dialogue at the International Training Institute for Imams and Preachers, and Professor of Arabic Language at the History Division of the Felix Houphouet University, and Deputy Director General of the International Training Institute for Imams and Preachers in Africa His Eminence has participated in numerous scientific conferences in various countries, and has written numerous research articles in different Islamic studies journals, as well as many books in different fields. His Eminence is currently the Vice President of the Islamic University of Africa. As a member of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Arna Konate has represented the Ivory Coast since March 22, 2015.
