Prof. Mohamed Aliev Wissam Mohamed Ali graduated from high school in 1949 in Baku and graduated in 1959. He then enrolled at the Faculty of Orientalism at Baku State University and graduated in 1964. In 1968, he completed his postgraduate studies (PhD) under the world-renowned academic J.W. Siriteli in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia.

Professor Mohamed Aliev was awarded many honors and medals, including Honored Scientist of Azerbaijan, Honored Scientist of Dagestan, Medal of Honor, etc. He translated the Holy Quran into Azerbaijani and published hundreds of scientific works.
