H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the sixty-fourth periodic meeting of the Academy’s heads of divisions on Wednesday 11 Jumada Al-Ula 1446, corresponding to 13 November 2024.

His Excellency welcomed the heads of divisions and congratulated them on the new date of the Academy 26th session to be held in Qatar on 6-10 Dhul Quidah 1446, corresponding to 4-8 May 2024. His Excellency also spoke about the cooperation agreement concluded between the Academy and the University of Birmingham, which aims to enhance cooperation in mutual areas, especially in the study of interfaith dialogue, clarifying the provisions of jurisprudence on related issues, and providing solutions to contemporary world problems.

The meeting reviewed previous decisions and issued new ones, namely:

• Taking a commemorative photo with the President of the Academy during seminars and sessions.
• Preparing a letter of thanks to the British Consulate General in Jeddah.
• Assigning meeting secretaries to remind those charged with implementing decisions well before the meeting.
• Sending the Academy’s publications to parties who signed agreements.
