H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 137th weekly meeting of departments on Tuesday, 28 Rajab 1446, corresponding to 28 January 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

His Excellency started the meeting by welcoming the attendees, noting the importance of assigning work to the heads of divisions and following up with them, and that guidance is an important way to learn and advance. His Excellency also pointed out that work continues to fulfill all preparations for the 26th session and make all efforts to make it a success.

The meeting discussed previous decisions and issued new ones, notably:

• Following up on the finalized memorandums of cooperation with King Saud University and the General Authority for Awqaf and activating the memorandum with the Council of Senior Scholars.
• Printing the session’s brochure and program before the end of the week.
• Follow up with Mofakiroon Publisher regarding printing the book of resolutions and research papers of the 21st session and urging them to expedite the matter.
• Review the meetings of Awqaf Board of Governors and set the date of the next meeting as soon as possible.
