Secretary General of the Academy visits the Embassy of Guinea in Doha, Qatar

H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Guinea in Doha, Capital of Qatar, where he was received by H.E. Mr. Cherno Abdullah Sow, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea to the State of Qatar, on Tuesday 10 Shawal 1446, corresponding to 08 April 2025, on the sidelines of his participation in the 11th session of the Doha Islamic Finance Conference.

On this occasion, the Ambassador commended the crucial role played by the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in providing effective solutions to contemporary issues in OIC member countries, as well as its initiatives and projects in spreading the moderation approach and promoting the culture of tolerance, coexistence, and moderation. The Secretary General expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome, reiterated his congratulations to the Guinean Ambassador on his new appointment to Qatar, and reiterated his thanks and gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Guinea, led by General Mamadou Doumbia, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, for its continuous and ongoing support, noting that the Academy is fully prepared to cooperate with all Guinean institutions that are active in the field of thought, knowledge, and dialogue.

The meeting was attended by staff of the Embassy, as well as by Mrs Sarah bint Amjad Bedewi, Supervisor of the Secretary General’s Office and Mr Saad Al-Samar, Head of the Academy’s Media Division.
