He obtained a Master’s Degree in Shariah (Comparative Fiqh) from the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Baghdad. His master’s thesis was entitled:

“Principles for Distinguishing the Rulings Issued by the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) in His Capacities as a Human Being, Legislator, and Leader.”

He later earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Fiqh from Al-Imam Al-A’dham Abu Hanifa University College, with a dissertation entitled:

“The Theory of Money in Islamic Jurisprudence.”

In 2024, he was appointed as a member representing the Republic of Iraq on the Council of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA). He has also held several significant positions, including:

• Faculty Member at Al-Imam Al-A’dham University College in Nineveh.
• Chairman of the Fatwa Council of Nineveh Governorate.
• Instructor of the traditional ijazah sciences for more than thirty years.
