The meeting was held on November 3, 2025, at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah, and was chaired by His Excellency Prof. Dr Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the Academy.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the attendees. He spoke about the importance of these meetings in accomplishing administrative and academic tasks, as well as facilitating follow-up on their implementation to ensure the success of the institution’s work. He expressed his gratitude to the Media and Information Technology Department for repairing the malfunctioning equipment. He also thanked the Director of the Fatwas and Libraries Department for converting the Academy’s publications into digital formats and uploading them to the Academy’s website.
The meeting then discussed the items on its agenda and issued several decisions and directives, the most notable of which include:
• Coordinating with libraries and platforms to sell the Academy’s publications electronically.
• Reprinting some books authored by His Excellency Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid under the Academy’s name.
• Preparing a provisional budget for the remaining issues of the Academy’s journal.
• Postponing the symposium on “Violence Against Women” to January 2026.
