The Academy held its seventy‑third regular meeting for divios t headscChaired by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the Academy on Thursday, 5 Rajab 1447 AH, corresponding to 25 December 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.
At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the attendees. He thanked them for their dedication, emphasising the importance of these regular meetings in strengthening communication among the various departments and divisions. He also announced the postponement of the symposium titled “The Role of Religious Leaders in Combating Violence Against Women” to 30 March 2026.
The meeting concluded with several important decisions, the most notable of which were:
• Initiating the update and redesign of the Academy’s introductory booklets, submitting weekly reports (every Thursday) on newly added visual content on YouTube and TikTok, and coordinating with specialised media companies in preparation for the upcoming women’s symposium.
• Sending the Academy’s publications and the fifth edition of the Book of Resolutions to all universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and contacting translators to translate the Book of Resolutions into Russian, Chinese, and Portuguese.
• Following up on training programs for Academy staff, disbursing financial dues related to the Turkish translation of the resolutions, and updating members’ data and photos on the Academy’s website.
• Inviting several scholars and muftis to participate in upcoming symposia, and replacing the Academy’s and the Organisation’s flags inside and outside the headquarters according to the approved schedule.
