
The International Islamic Fiqh Academy organised a recognition ceremony on Tuesday, 22 Muharram 1448 AH (July 7, 2026) at the Academy’s General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah in honour of Mr Amjad Ibrahim Mustafa, Head of the Protocol Department, on the occasion of the completion of his service with the Academy. His professional career at the Academy spanned eighteen years, during which he made significant contributions to advancing the Academy’s mission and strengthening its scholarly and institutional work.
The ceremony was attended by H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Salah Sobhi Hameed, Consul General and Permanent Representative of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), along with the Academy’s staff members.
In his remarks, H.E. the Secretary General expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to Mr Amjad Ibrahim Mustafa, commending his dedication, sincerity, and loyalty to the Academy throughout his years of service. He praised Mr Amjad’s professionalism, discipline, and commitment to duty, emphasising that the Academy takes pride in individuals whose contributions have supported its scholarly and administrative development and enhanced the quality of its services.
He further noted that Mr Amjad had been a model of excellence and professionalism, playing a key role in advancing protocol operations and improving the Academy’s public image. He also contributed significantly to the success of the conferences, seminars, and scholarly events organised by the Academy at both regional and international levels. The Secretary General highlighted Mr Amjad’s exemplary character, collegial spirit, and sincere cooperation with his colleagues, qualities that earned him the respect and affection of all who worked with him.
For his part, H.E. Ambassador Mohammed Salah Sobhi Hameed expressed his appreciation for participating in the ceremony and praised Mr Amjad’s dedicated service throughout his tenure at the Academy. He emphasised that Mr Amjad represented the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with distinction and served as an outstanding example of professional competence, integrity, and commitment, leaving a positive impression on everyone who interacted with him within and beyond the Academy.
Mr Amjad, in turn, expressed his heartfelt thanks and appreciation to H.E. the Secretary General and the Academy’s staff for this generous gesture. He stated that the years he spent at the Academy would remain among the most memorable and rewarding periods of his professional life, and he expressed gratitude for the cooperation, support, and recognition he received during his service.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, H.E. the Secretary General presented Mr. Amjad with a commemorative shield and a certificate of appreciation in recognition of his sincere efforts and distinguished contributions to the Academy throughout his years of service, wishing him continued success and prosperity in his future endeavors.
