Under the chairmanship of His Excellency Professor Dr. Koutob Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the Academy, the 68th periodic meeting of the employees was held on Sunday, 19 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to 2 August 2026, at the headquarters of the Academy’s General Secretariat in Jeddah.

His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the participants and following up on the final preparations for the scientific symposium for religious leaders. These preparations included confirming the travel itineraries and flight tickets of the participants, as well as printing the research presentations and sending them to the participants.

His Excellency also reaffirmed the commitment of the General Secretariat to making this monthly meeting a renewed forum for dialogue, institutional development and the resolution of administrative issues.

The meeting discussed several administrative and organizational matters and adopted several decisions, the most important of which were:

• Complete the classification of publications and research papers, review the documentation of the preliminary version of the book “Dictionary of the Academy’s Personalities”, and revise the list of experts before the end of August.
• Follow up on the arrangements for printing the Book of Resolutions and the remaining copies of the Academy’s journal.
• Contact Dar Al-Bashir to reach an agreement on reprinting all issues of the Academy’s journal, from the first issue through the latest editions, and contact Dar Al-Fath to send it the research papers prepared for the scientific symposium.
