At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the participants and expressed his appreciation for their attendance and efforts in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them. He also informed those present of the imminent convening of the Twenty-Seventh Session of the Council of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, scheduled to take place in mid-November 2026.

The meeting then discussed several administrative and organisational matters related to preparations for the upcoming session, the updating of the Academy’s publications and releases, the enhancement of means of promoting its work and activities, as well as the follow-up of various tasks and responsibilities assigned to the departments.

At the conclusion of the meeting, several decisions were adopted, the most notable of which were:

• Updating, designing, and printing the new Strategic Plan, the Statute of the Academy, the Statute of the Academy’s Waqf Fund, the Activities Report, as well as introductory brochures and leaflets, including the addition of the numbers, venues, and dates of the Academy’s sessions.
• Preparing gift bags and gift boxes in the three official languages, and completing the distribution of the Academy’s publications and scholarly works to the embassies of the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh, as well as to ministries of awqaf and Islamic affairs, and academic and religious institutions.
• Providing a movable display screen introducing the Academy’s presidents, secretaries-general, members, and experts, and reorganizing the designated photography area on the ground floor of the Academy’s premises.
• Encouraging staff members to enroll in training courses in accordance with the approved procedures.
