At the outset of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their efforts. He also extended special thanks to Mr. Mohammed Al-Mundhir Reda Al-Shawk, Dr. Abdul Fattah Mahmoud Ibnauf, Mr. Khalid Hamid Al-Ahmadi, Mr. Hassan Kumait, and Mr. Nabil Khalil Mohammed for attending during the official holiday and participating in the meeting with His Eminence Professor Dr. Saeed Shabbar, Secretary General of the Higher Council of Ulema of the Kingdom of Morocco, and for discussing the hosting by the Kingdom of Morocco of the Twenty-Eighth Session of the Academy’s Council Conference, commending the fruitful and successful discussions that took place during the meeting.

The meeting also discussed several organisational arrangements related to the session, foremost among them communication with participating researchers to confirm their attendance, completion of invitations addressed to Academy members, and related official invitations and correspondence.

The meeting concluded with a number of decisions, most notably:

• Sending letters of acceptance of research papers to participants, while emphasising the necessity of confirming their attendance.
• Sending participation letters to Academy members to attend the Twenty-Seventh Session.
• Preparing a letter of appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency Dr. Saleh Al-Suhaibani, the former Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, on the occasion of the completion of his term of service.
