H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the Academy, chaired the first monthly meeting with the personnel of the Academy, on Sunday 14 Rabi al-Awal 1442 corresponding to 1 November 2020. His Excellency discussed all how to overcome difficulties, meet expectations, and promote the Academy to the ranks of the world-leading academic institutions that should be emulated in terms of discipline, transparency, creativity and productivity, as well as become a living model for organized, integrated, interdependent and coherent Islamic action.

His Excellency stated that the achievement of this objective depends mainly on concerted efforts and complementary measures to achieve the expected reform, development and progress. His Excellency suggested to the participants to title this monthly meeting “the self-accountability and performance evaluation meeting”. His Excellency committed to holding this meeting on the first Sunday of each month, wishing all employees to openly express their complaints, suggestions and observations in order to improve the performance of the Academy.

The meeting witnessed an open dialogue between His Excellency and the personnel of the Academy, which was characterized by clarity and frankness. In the end, the personnel of the Academy thanked His Excellency for his advice and willingness to strengthen the relations of cooperation and fraternity.
