The International Islamic Fiqh Academy held the fiftieth meeting of heads of divisions, chaired by H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, on Wednesday 13 Rabi al-Awal 1445, corresponding to September 27, 2023, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

The Secretary General welcomed the Heads of Division and thanked them for their regular participation in these important periodic meetings. His Excellency spoke of the importance of the regulation and organization of work and its great impact on the execution of tasks, the maintenance of work and the optimal exercise of responsibilities, indicating that an administrator succeeds when work is based on the monitoring and organization of administrative and scientific work, and avoiding centralization which can be detrimental to the Academy.

Participants then discussed the items on the meeting’s agenda, with new decisions including:

• Plan and organize work, documents, and files to ensure that no work trail is lost.
• Review previous agreements and ensure that signatory parties are prepared to renew them.
• Reformat photos of members, senior officials, and memorandums of cooperation at the Academy entrance.
• Contact publishing houses for offers to print certain issues of the Academy’s scientific journal.
