“O reassured soul * Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing * Join with My [righteous] servants * And enter My Paradise” Al-Fajr, 27-30.

It is with great sadness that the Secretariat General of International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) received the news of the passing away of Sheikh Mohamed Haji Yusuf, Somalia’s former representative to the Council of the Academy, who left behind a good impression and an example to emulate in the dedication and sincerity of his work and ascetism during his tenure at the Council of the Academy.

On this sad occasion, the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), its presidency, secretariat general and staff, present their sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the family of the deceased, his relatives and beloved, praying Allah to shower him with His mercy, pardon him and welcome him in the Paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, the virtuous and good companions.

To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
