H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the twenty-fourth joint weekly meeting of departments and divisions on Tuesday, 14 Rajab 1446, corresponding to 29 January 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

His Excellency welcomed the staff of the Academy and spoke about his participation in the International Conference of the MWL’s Islamic Fiqh Council, entitled: Girls’ Education in Muslim Societies, held in Pakistan on 11-12 January 2025, where he delivered a speech praising the education of girls and women in Saudi Arabia. He also thanked the Secretary General of the Muslim World League for the invitation and hospitality.

In addition, His Excellency spoke about the annual evaluation of employees, emphasizing that every employee should receive an annual evaluation and that every employee has the right to deliver their director a feedback of their evaluation. He also called on the directors to discuss their situation with their employees and urged them to fear Allah when preparing the evaluation and to use the evaluation to help the employees develop themselves.

The meeting reviewed several decisions and made new ones, in particular

• Contacting several printers regarding the initial cost of printing the research of the 26th session and asking for the deadlines.
• Repairing and correcting the malfunctioning of staff equipment, servers, printing, file sharing services and their maintenance.
• Printing the missing newsletters and purchase the specialized machine for laminating the newsletters.
