On Sunday, 16th of Safar 1447 AH, corresponding to 10th of August 2025, the Academy held its fifty-sixth staff meeting at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Jeddah, under the chairmanship of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, who opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and expressing his appreciation for the efforts of the Department of Sessions and Conferences in completing the booklet for the session and sending it to Malaysia. He also emphasized the importance of activating cooperation between the various departments and transforming ideas and proposals into practical plans that contribute to improving the Academy’s performance and enhancing its presence at both the local and international levels.

He then spoke about the invitation he received from the Muslim World League to participate in the First Jurists Forum, scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur at the end of this month, affirming his intention to communicate with the Malaysian Ministry of Religious Affairs to discuss arrangements for the session in case their delegation is unable to attend in Jeddah.

Based on the fact that this meeting was designated as a platform for constructive dialogue among the Academy’s staff, resolving issues, and presenting proposals that would elevate institutional work, the meeting witnessed the presentation and discussion of several topics, most notably:

• Assigning the Department of Fatwas and Libraries to communicate with Dar Al-Maiman to finalize the arrangements related to contracting with them.
• Uploading the electronic versions of the Academy’s journal issues available on the website.
• Communicating with ICESCO to discuss signing a cooperation memorandum with the Academy.
• Presenting a proposal to update the Academy’s website.
