His Excellency Professor Dr.Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the Academy, chaired the 70th regular meeting of division heads on Sunday, 23 Ṣafar 1447 AH, corresponding to August 17, 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the attendees. He spoke about the importance of enhancing the Academy’s presence across its various social media platforms, especially Facebook and Twitter. He also called for the creation of an official account on TikTok, given its growing significance and rapid spread nowadays.

He directed that errors in the dates of some published materials be corrected, and urged the swift completion of uploading cooperation agreements to the Academy’s website as soon as possible. Additionally, he emphasized the need to merge photos of each group into a single panel and arrange them logically.

The meeting concluded with several important decisions, including:

1. Updating and redesigning the Academy’s introductory booklets to be included in official gift packages.
2. Scanning the guestbook and creating a new icon on the website titled: “What They Said About the Academy.”
3. Sending the Academy’s publications and the fifth edition of the Book of Resolutions to partners, delegations, consulates, embassies, universities in Saudi Arabia, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Council of Senior Scholars, and the General Presidency for Religious Affairs.
4. Completing the printing of missing newsletters as quickly as possible.
5. Uploading electronic versions of translations of the Book of Resolutions in non-Arabic languages to the Academy’s website.
6. Starting coordination with specialized translators to translate the Book of Resolutions into Russian, Chinese, Portuguese, and Fulani.
7. Selecting the best offer for printing the Turkish version of the Book of Resolutions and completing the printing procedures.
8. Sending a hard copy of “Al-Maʿlama” to the Minister of Religious Affairsof the Republic of Indonesia via the Indonesian Permanent Mission in Jeddah.
9. Sending a copy of the fifth edition of the Book of Resolutions to senior and long-standing experts of the Academy.
10. Sending upcoming newsletter issues regularly to members and experts via group email on a monthly basis.
