The General Secretariat of the Academy held its seventy-second periodic meeting of heads of divisions on Thursday, 15 Jumada al-Ula 1447 AH, corresponding to November 6, 2025, at its headquarters in Jeddah.
His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and thanking them for their active participation, praising their dedicated efforts, and emphasising the importance of strengthening communication between departments and implementing the decisions issued by various meetings in ways that improve performance and enhance institutional work quality.
The meeting addressed several topics related to updating media materials and introductory brochures, as well as revising certain organisational aspects within the Academy.
The meeting concluded with several important decisions, most notably:
• Updating the Academy’s introductory brochures, redesigning them, and including them among official gifts.
• Sending the Academy’s publications, the Academy Journal (Issue 21), and the fifth edition of the Book of Resolutions to partners, Saudi universities, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Council of Senior Scholars.
• Uploading new videos to the Academy’s YouTube channel and updating photos of former and current secretaries and members.
• Coordinating with translators to translate the Book of Resolutions into Russian, Chinese, and Portuguese.
• Organising staff participation in training courses and following up on weekly reports related to the Academy’s digital media content.
• Distributing duplicate books from the Academy’s library to staff and students of knowledge, after proper documentation.
