His Excellency Prof. Dr Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary-General of the Academy, chaired the thirty‑first joint weekly meeting of the departments and divisions on Thursday, 16 Ramadan 1447 AH, corresponding to 5 March 2026, at the Academy’s General Secretariat headquarters, to follow up on and finalise the organisational arrangements for the upcoming symposium for religious leaders.
He opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and affirming that the session was dedicated to reviewing the final arrangements for organising the symposium, noting that the full picture of its convening would become clearer in the coming week.
The meeting also discussed the organisational and technical aspects related to the symposium, including arrangements for guest participation, travel procedures, completion of the scientific papers prepared for the event, coordination with the entities responsible for printing and simultaneous interpretation, and follow‑up on the proposals and services associated with organising the event.
The meeting concluded with several decisions, the most notable of which were:
• Relying on the visas that have already been issued.
• Communicating with participants whose travel tickets have been issued to confirm their attendance.
• Finalising the coordination of research papers in their final form for printing.
• Completing the arrangements related to simultaneous interpretation and other organisational services for the symposium.
