The meeting then discussed a number of administrative and organisational matters related to the workflow of the Academy’s departments.
The meeting concluded with several decisions, the most important of which were:
• Reassessing the Academy’s computer equipment and updating the report of the Department of Media and Information Technology regarding devices requiring maintenance or replacement, while expediting implementation according to the approved timetable.
• Enhancing the Academy’s newsletter, annual report, and informational publications, and uploading them to the Academy’s website after integrating QR codes. This also includes updating the data of Academy members and preparing a booklet containing minutes of administrative meetings from previous years.
• Adopting a unified mechanism for monitoring translation, printing, and publication activities, and strengthening cooperation with partner academic institutions to complete the printing of the Academy’s resolutions book translations in Persian, Urdu, and Hausa.
• Approving a new mechanism for the review and production of the Academy Journal, with the aim of improving the quality of scholarly review and enhancing coordination among the concerned departments prior to printing.
• Emphasising the proper regulation of leave requests through the “Jisr” system, with the requirement that staff inform their immediate managers before submitting requests, thereby helping to ensure smooth workflow, while reaffirming that leave is a guaranteed right for all staff.
