IIFA Director of Family Affairs Participates in the OIC Coordination Meeting on the Family

Ms. Sarah Badewi, Director of the Family, Women, Childhood and Elderly Affairs Department at the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), participated in the virtual coordination meeting held by the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss ways and mechanisms for implementing Paragraph 4 of the Organization’s para. No. 4 of the resolution no.4/48-C on women, children and the family in general, on Thursday 14 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 08 December 2022G.

His Excellency Dr. Youssef Belmehdi, Minister of Religious Affairs and Awqaf of the Republic of Algeria, received His Excellency Professor Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), in the Algerian capital, on Monday 18 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 12 December 2022G.

His Excellency Professor Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), visited the headquarters of the Supreme Islamic Council in Algiers, on Sunday 17 Jumada al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 11 December 2022G, as part of his official working visit to Algeria.

At the kind invitation of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, His Excellency Professor Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), paid an official visit to Algeria during the period between 16-19 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 10-13 December 2022G.

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) held its annual celebration to commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which falls on November 29 of each year, at the headquarters of the Organization’s General Secretariat in Jeddah on Wednesday, 13 Jumada I 1444H corresponding to 07 December 2022G.

His Excellency Professor Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), chaired, on Thursday 08 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 01 December 2022G, the twenty-sixth monthly meeting for the employees of the Academy, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah.

His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Samir Elnakshbandy, the new Consul General of the Republic of Iraq to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Iraq to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and his accompanying delegation visited, on Tuesday 05 Jumada al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 29 November 2022G, the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Excellency the Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, chaired the ninety-ninth weekly meeting of the departments, on Monday 04 Jumada Al-Awwal 1444H corresponding to 28 November 2022G, at the headquarters of the Academy’s General Secretariat in Jeddah.

His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), participated in the second scientific conference of the College of Islamic Studies at Mohamed bin Zayed University for Human Sciences, entitled “Islamic Studies in Universities: Towards Promoting the Values of Citizenship and Coexistence,” from 28-30 Rabi’ al Thani 1444H, corresponding to 22-24 November 2022G, in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Hamid, member of the Council of Senior Scholars, imam and Khatib of the Great Mosque of Mecca, and President of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), and His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sanu, Secretary General of the Academy, participated in the 35th International Conference of Muslims of Latin America and the Caribbean under the slogan “Muslims of Latin America Confronting the Phenomenon of Hatred", which is held from 24-26 Rabi` al-Thani 1444H, corresponding to 18-20 November 2022G, in the Brazilian capital, São Paulo.
