His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the distinguished members of the Board of Trustees, congratulating them on the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan and asking Allah the Almighty to help them fast and pray during this month.

His Excellency spoke about the Statute of the IIFA Waqf Fund, in which he entrusted the Board of Trustees with developing its general policies and approving its regular procedures. He also entrusted the Board of Trustees with seeking ways to assist the Waqf Fund in obtaining donations in kind and in cash and to present them to the Board of Trustees for approval. His Excellency referred to the proposals made by the Waqf Supervisory Board at previous meetings, in particular the outline of the executive plan, which includes a clear scheme for the collection and approval methods from countries, organizations and individuals, stressing that such procedures require a financial cost to be presented to the Academy in order to implement this plan.

  • The unanimous approval by the participants of the proposals presented by the Board Secretary.
  • To consult with the OIC Secretary General to propose members for the Supervisory Board for a period of three years.
