Under the chairmanship of H.E. the Secretary-General of the Academy, the Ninth weekly meeting of the directors of the Academy’s departments was held on Monday 22 Rabi` Al-Akhir 1442, corresponding to 08 December 2020. His Excellency opened the meeting by greeting the participants, stressing the importance of accomplishing two crucial issues before the next meeting, which are to print the resolutions of the Academy and the amended Statutes in the three languages in its final form to present it to the members of the Bureau.

His Excellency also thanked Dr. Abdel Fattah Abnauf, Director of the Department of Planning and International Cooperation, which is responsible for drafting the administrative minutes of the meetings, for his valuable efforts in facilitating access to information and follow-up for all departments and officials in an accessible and well-ordered manner.

The meeting resulted in several decisions, the most important of which are:

-Confirmation of the dispatch of the documents with the draft budget to be presented to the Bureau members by 15/12/2020 at the latest.

-Work on the revision of the amended statute from typographical and spelling errors in its final form in order to send it to the Department of Cultural and Social Affairs of the OIC before its print.

-Review the paper prepared by the Research Department on the organization of a specialized jurisprudential economic symposium on the corona pandemic in December, and compare it with the outcomes of the Al-Baraka Symposium and the Abu Dhabi Conference on Emergency Jurisprudence, by 10/12/2020 at the latest.
