The International Islamic Fiqh Academy organized via videoconferencing on Tuesday morning 13 Jumada al-Akhira 1442 corresponding to 26 January 2021, the first extensive scientific coordination forum between the Academy, presidents, secretaries and members of Shariah boards and committees of Islamic banks and financial institutions based in the the Gulf Cooperation Council entitled:
Towards a Scientific Partnership between the Academy and Shariah Boards of GCC-based Banks and Financial Institutions for strengthening the Islamic Financial Industry
After presenting the final draft of the statement and recommendations to the jurists and experts who participated in the Forum and who represent the Shariah boards and committees of Islamic banks and financial institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and after taking into account several remarks and suggestions presented by the participants of the Forum, the Secretariat General of the Academy officially publishes the final statement and scientific recommendations of the Forum.
The Academy takes this opportunity to reiterate its thanks and appreciation to all the participants of the Forum, may Allah grant them the best reward.
