International Islamic Fiqh Academy signs a cooperation agreement with the Republic of Uzbekistan’s Muslim Directorate

Within the framework of promoting close cooperation and strong partnership between the Academy and the main scientific institutions and centers inside and outside the Muslim world, and in order to activate one of the most important provisions of the Strategic Plan, H.E. Prof. Koutoub Mustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy recently signed a cooperation agreement between the Academy and the Directorate of Muslims of Uzbekistan, represented by His Eminence Sheikh Osman Khan Taymur Khan al-Samarqandi, President of the Directorate of Muslims and the Grand Mufti of Uzbekistan.

This agreement aims to expand the bridges of academic cooperation and scholarly communication and the joint organization of seminars, conferences, and workshops on various issues of common interest.

It should be noted that the Secretariat General of the Academy is making intensive contacts to obtain the approval of the Uzbek authorities for hosting the next twenty-fifth session of the Academy in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan.
