The Secretary General of the Academy, H.E. Prof. Koutoub Sano, chaired the twenty-sixth weekly meeting of the directors of Academy’s departments on Monday 23 Shaaban 1442 corresponding to 05 March 2021.

His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the participants, then spoke about the strategic plan’s implementation mechanism and the importance of classifying it by precise, timely classification for each department. He also stressed that the plan’s implementation and success require close cooperation and continuous integration between the Academy’s departments and staff.

His Excellency also reiterated the importance of involving the Department of Family and Women’s Affairs in implementing the activities and programs, especially those that involve the participation of women jurisconsults, experts and muftis, and other issues related to the family, women, children and the elderly.

The meeting resulted in several decisions, notably:

-To organize an online consultative seminar with the Secretaries General of Awqaf in the GCC countries.

-To expedite the updating of the Academy’s website, and the website development committee should submit a weekly report of its meeting.

-To follow up on communication and coordination with the Indonesian Ulama Council to hold a joint online meeting.
