The thirty-second weekly meeting of the directors of the Academy’s departments was held on Tuesday 20 Shawal 1442 corresponding to 01 June 2021, under the chairmanship of the Secretary General of the Academy.

His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the participants and spoke about his visit with the accompanying delegation to H.E. Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdulaziz Aal-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting allowed for an exchange of views on issues of common interests and ways to strengthen cooperation between the two institutions. This visit was part of the activities and programs provided for in the strategic plan of the Academy with regard to strengthening coordination and communication with the relevant authorities of the headquarters.

The meeting made several decisions, notably:

-Updating the biodata of the Academy’s members and experts to dispatch them the publications of the Academy, especially the monthly newsletter.

-Sending letters of thanks to the Minister of Religious Affairs of Malaysia and the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of Saudi Arabia for their reception and generous hospitality, and preparing a draft cooperation agreement to be submitted to the Ministries as soon as possible.

-Preparing a comprehensive vision for the creation of a television channel for the Academy after reviewing the host state’s laws and procedures regarding the creation of television channels.
