His Excellency opened the 15th ordinary meeting of the divisions’ heads by thanking participants for their dedication in carrying out their tasks and their concern to implement the activities and programs within the time limit, stressing at the same time the importance of referring to the minutes of the periodic meetings, whether weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly, in order to implement the instructions entrusted to them in each department. He also stressed the importance of writing the minutes of these meetings in order to document and ensure an effective follow-up.

His Excellency then reviewed the most important results of his recent visit to Indonesia with a delegation from the Academy, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and communication with Indonesia. In this regard, he pointed out that the Academy delegation discussed with the Indonesian authorities the procedural and logistical details related to the 25th session to be held in the Republic of Indonesia in sha Allah depending on the international circumstances relating to the Corona pandemic. Then, His Excellency discussed the items on the agenda of the meeting.

The meeting took several decisions, notably:

-Calling for contributions by Indonesian researchers, men and women, to submit their papers to the next session of the Academy.

-Update the electronic version of the Academy’s resolutions and recommendations on the website.

-Allocate a page in the monthly newsletter to publish the brief biographies of the Academy’s members.
