H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the eighth monthly meeting of the Academy’s personnel on Sunday 25 Shawal 1442, corresponding to 6 June 2021.

His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the participants, reminding everyone of the importance of sincerity in work and observance of Allah the Almighty in all the tasks we perform. He also prayed to Allah the Almighty to keep away from humanity the current pandemic due to its disastrous effects.

His Excellency then discussed the meeting agenda after approving the previous minutes and then listened to the participants’ views and suggestions regarding the improvement of organizational performance and providing the necessary equipment to Academy’s employees so that they can best perform the tasks entrusted to them.

The meeting resulted in several decisions as follows:

-To send the translation of the fourth edition of the Academy’s Resolutions and Recommendations in English to Publishers in its final form to be reviewed and finalized before the Academy’s Bureau meeting scheduled during June.

-Prepare a complete conception of the regulations in force at the OIC regarding VAT to enable staff to benefit from this this headquarters-approved arrangement.
