11th Monthly General Meeting of IIFA’s Employees

His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), presided over the eleventh monthly meeting of the Academy’s employees on Sunday, 27 of Muharram 1443H corresponding to September 05, 2021G.

His Excellency began the meeting by welcoming the attendees, especially the new employee, Ms. Ola Al-Assiri, who recently joined the Academy, wishing her success in her duties and calling on everyone to welcome her and cooperate fully with her to facilitate her integration into the Academy so that she can perform her job to the fullest.

His Excellency then spoke about the expected visit of the Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs to the headquarters of the General Secretariat in the coming days, and he also talked about the recent visit of the Secretary General elect of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) last week.

His Excellency also spoke about the importance of cooperation between the Academy’s departments and employees to achieve the Academy’s objectives, and implement its activities and programs as required, stressing the need for exchange and integration between departments so that the experiences gained among the employees permeate and everyone knows the workflow within all departments, in support of the spirit of cooperation, coordination and partnership within the Academy, and in implementation of the provisions of the new approved five-year strategic plan.

The meeting resulted in a number of decisions, the most important of which are:

  • Expedite the issuance of the first issue of the Academy’s magazine before the end of the current month of September.
  • Issuing the book of resolutions and recommendations of the Academy in English during this month.
  • Carrying out the required maintenance and the new design of the library hall in the Academy in order to keep pace with the technological changes and to preserve the valuable books it contains.
  • Starting to update and develop the Academy’s official website and accounts on social media.
  • Extracting and re-archiving the visual content in the archives of the Academy since its establishment due to its historical and scientific importance, as well as for use when needed.
  • Adopting the training of a number of employees on various tasks within the Academy to raise their levels and develop their performance.
