On Sunday 6 Jumada II 1443H corresponding to 9 January 2022G, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), chaired the fifteenth monthly general meeting of the Academy’s employees, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Academy in Jeddah.
His Excellency opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees, thanking them for their good discipline and full commitment to the regulations and decisions of the Academy, especially the regular attendance at the periodic meetings that define the general directions of the policies of the Academy and the practical measures taken regarding all the various issues and activities that the Academy regularly organizes. His Excellency also took the opportunity to congratulate all employees on the new administrative year, calling on them all to redouble efforts and strive for excellence in performing their tasks so that the new year 2022 will be better than the last year.
As is customary in such meetings, His Excellency opened the floor for all employees to express their opinions and remarks about the progress of work in the Academy, in addition to any proposals they have that could contribute to the advancement of the Academy and improve staff performance. His Excellency listened with interest and focus to the remarks, suggestions, and inquiries of employees, calling on everyone to continue to show a spirit of cooperation, synergy and fraternity while making maximum efforts to achieve optimally the activities and programs of the Academy.
The meeting took several decisions, the most important of which are:
- Assigning the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Information Technology Division, to explore the new technologies of attendance system and submit a monthly report on staff attendance to the Secretary General.
- Directing the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department to appoint an additional janitor to cover the expansion of offices at the Academy during the past year.
