On Monday, 08 Dhu al-Qa’dah 1443H corresponding to 07 June 2022G, His Excellency Prof. Koutoub Moustapha Sano, Secretary General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), chaired the twentieth monthly periodic meeting of the Academy’s employees, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy in Jeddah.
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary General welcomed everyone, thanking them for their regular attendance at these important periodic meetings that discuss the issues of the Academy. Then His Excellency spoke about the promotions and amendments that were made to the employees of the Academy in detail, based on the principle of transparency and fairness. His Excellency also indicated that the Academy has formed an internal committee to study the files of applicants in March of 2021. The Committee then submitted its report along with a letter addressed to the Assistant Secretary General for Financial and Administrative Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and followed-up on that thereafter.
And based on the keenness of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Academy to rectify the situations of employees who hold scientific qualifications, he has, based on his powers granted to him according to the regulations, corrected the situations of these employees according to their qualifications, and granted an incentive reward to some employees who were unable to be promoted and or their situation modified.
His Excellency then listened to everyone’s opinions and suggestions on this subject and with regard to improving the work of the Academy, as the discussions concluded that a clear vision to be drawn up on the possibility of disbursing the entitlement to the overtime wage and replacing it with vacation days. His Excellency also instructed the Investment and Projects Department to take urgent action to make the most of the apartment endowed for the Academy in Makkah Al-Mukarramah for this Hajj season 1443H especially that it is close to the Jamarat in Mina.
