His Eminence Dr. Hamza Moustapha Maiga

Born in 1976 in Mali, H.E. Dr. Hamza Mustafa Maiga earned a bachelor’s degree in 1996 in Arabic Language, Islamic Studies and Political Science, a master’s degree in 1999 in Dawah and Civilization, and a Doctorate in 2004 in Comparative Religions and Religious Dialogue from the Open University of Tripoli, Libya. His Eminence has held significant positions in Mali, including as Professor of Islamic Education and Civilization at the Institute of Arab Studies at the World Islamic Call Society (WICS), Imam- Khatib at WICS Mosque, Secretary-General of the Foundation for Solidarity and Aid to the Malian People, Founding President of the National Council of Students of Arabic Language and Islamic Culture in Mali, Deputy and First Assistant to the President of the National Union of Muslim Youth in Mali, researcher and lecturer on Islam inside and outside Mali, and Secretary for Religious Affairs at Muslim Spiritual Leaders Congress of Mali. As a member of the Council of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, H.E. Dr. Hamza Mustafa Maiga has represented the Republic of Mali Since March 14, 2017.
