His Eminence Dr. Osman Moalim Mohmud Sheikh Ali was born in 1962 in Somalia, he obtained a bachelor’s degree in 1407H (1987G), a master’s degree in 1411H (1991G), a doctorate degree in 1416H (1996G) from the College of the Holy Qur’an at the Islamic University of Medina, and he attended various courses in Language, Tafsir, logic, proofreading, and correspondence literature at the Academy of the Arabic Language in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. His Eminence is a member for Somalia at the International Islamic Fiqh Academy since 03 November 2019G. His Eminence also worked as a collaborating teacher at Al-Madinah International University in Malaysia, Al-Imam Al-Marwazi University in Somalia, and taught a number of shariah subjects, including: creed, Fiqh, fundamentals of Fiqh, Tafsir, and the sciences of the Qur’an. He is a shariah researcher at the Center for Qur’anic Studies at the King Fahd Academy for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an in Madinah since 1420H (1999G). His Eminence participated in scientific conferences in various fields of Islamic studies, and he has several publications in different fields.
