His Eminence Dr. Abdourahman Mohamed Ali

Born in 1971 in Djibouti, Dr. Abdourahman Mohamed Ali received a bachelor’s degree from Imam Muhammad Islamic University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a master’s degree from Al Jazeera University in Sudan, and a doctorate from the University of the Noble Qur’an and Authentic Knowledge in Sudan. His Eminence has served in various positions as Chairman of the Supreme Council of Fatwa, Chairman of the Djiboutian Scholars Association, Friday Khatib at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Balboa, Djibouti, Deputy Chairman of the National Sharia Supervisory Board at the Centre Bank, Chairman of the Dawah and Guidance Department at the Islamic Affairs Ministry in Djibouti, Professor at the Yemeni School, and Head of the Voluntary Committee of the Diwan Zakat Foundation in Djibouti. His Eminence has also participated in many television and radio programs. As a member of the Council of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, H.E. Dr. Abdourahman Mohamed Ali has represented Djibouti since March 22, 2015.
