His Eminence Dr. Hamdati Cheikhna Ma El Ainin was born in 1938 in the Kingdom of Morocco. He pursued his early religious education under some of the most distinguished scholars of the Moroccan Sahara and later obtained the Doctorate of State from Dar al-Hadith al-Hassania in Morocco.

He was appointed as a delegated member of the Council of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), representing the Kingdom of Morocco on 14 November 1998.

Throughout his distinguished career, His Eminence held several prominent positions in Morocco, including:

• Delegate in the Royal Court.
• President of an Honorary Chamber of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary.
• Lecturer at Dar al-Hadith al-Hassania.
• President of the Council of Ulema in Kenitra.
• Chief Judge at the Court of Suddad.
• Member of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
• Member of the Royal Advisory Commission entrusted with the revision of the Moroccan Family Code (Moudawana).

His Eminence has also authored numerous published studies and scholarly works in Islamic jurisprudence, law, literature, and contemporary legal issues.
