His Eminence has been a Representative Member of Algeria in the International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA) since 29 April 2009. He has also held several important academic positions, including Chairman of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Algiers, Head of the Department of Shariah at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Algiers, Chairman of the Faculty Scientific Committee of the Department of Islamic Shariah and Law, Expert Member of the Islamic Sciences Program Evaluation Committee under the Ministry of Higher Education, and Coordinator of the scientific seminars regularly organized by the Faculty of Islamic Sciences.

His Eminence also holds significant memberships in various institutions, including: Member of the Higher Islamic Council, Member of the National Fatwa Committee of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Chairman of the Fatwa Committee of the Higher Islamic Council, Member of the National Moon-Sighting Committee of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Member of the National Committee for Fatwa and Islamic Financial Industry of the Higher Islamic Council, Chairman of the Shariah Board of the National Bank of Algeria, and Member of several other Shariah supervisory boards.
