Dr. Mohammed Mustafa Ahmad Shoaib, Supervisor of Fatwa and Reviews Observatory, represented the Academy at the Consultative Summit of Muslim World Scholars, held in Istanbul, Turkey, on 13-14 May 2024, which addressed a number of important issues of concern to the Muslim world and the challenges faced by Muslims at present.

Dr. Shoaib presented a research paper on the strategy of discourse and joint action against extremist ideologies that threaten the Ummah and explained in his speech that Islam calls for moderation and balance in all matters, whether in worship or actions and relationships. At the end of his speech, he thanked the Turkish government, people, and the Presidency of Religious Affairs for its interest in Muslim issues and its sponsorship of such conferences that bring the Ummah together to address its various problems.
