H.E. Prof. Koutoub Moustapga Sano, Secretary General of the Academy, chaired the 136th weekly meeting of the departments on Monday, 20 Rajab 1446, corresponding to 20 January 2025, at the Academy’s headquarters in Jeddah.

The Secretary General greeted the attendees and expressed condolences on Prof. Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali Sir Al-Mubaraki, a former member of the Council of Senior Scholars, member of the Department of Scientific Research and Fatwa, and member of the Fiqh Academy of the Muslim World League, asking Allah to have mercy on him.

His Excellency then spoke about the annual evaluation of employees, stressing that every employee has the right to inquire or object to his evaluation and has the right to review his supervisor in this regard and submit his objection or complaint to the Secretary General.

The meeting discussed previous decisions and issued new ones, notably:

• Completing the printing of the session’s research papers by the end of February at the latest.
• Qualifying and training staff members in managerial skills, such as photography, printing, newsletter design, and so on.
• Renewal of annual airport passes for protocol and airport staff.
